Chandanpura Mosque, locally known as Chandanpura Masjid, situated in northern part of Chittagong on Nabab Siraj Uddoula road. It is one of the old and famous landmarks in Chittagong and a popular tourist attraction for its impressive architecture consisting of multiple domes. Particularly the multiple domes of the mosque attract the visitors round the year. It was renovated in 1952 but recently due to pollution, the mosque is losing its beauty day by day. About the origin and the history behind the mosque only the little is known. The colorful design of the mosque is really eye catching that makes people remember the past of infrastructure of then British Architecture.
